Thanks for this excellent article by Margaret O’Keefe for her introduction to The World Peace Garden Camden.
The World Peace Garden Camden is an opportunity to briefly step outside our busy lives and think about a world in which respect for life and the pursuit of peace in every aspect, makes more sense than emphasizing divisions between peoples and going to war.
Inner Space of Covent Garden will be guiding 2x 15 minute meditations every morning at 7:00am and 7:15am
Monday to Friday, September 19-23 in The Peace Garden.
Starbucks has kindly offered complimentary coffee and teas from 6:45am to 7:45am on location at The Peace Garden that week.
On Wednesday September 21st (World Peace Day) Mohamed Alayli of The Hampstead Tea Rooms, located in between Zara and Starbucks at 9 South End Road, is offering complimentary Lebanese breakfasts (vegan/vegetarian) from 7:30am to 8:30am on a first come first serve basis for the first 15 meditators.
Anyone wishing to take Mohamed up on his generous offer will just need to collect a numbered voucher from Jonathan Bergman at 7:30am in The Peace Garden that morning.
In the event of heavy rain the meditations will take place at the Hampstead Tea Rooms.
Special thanks to Margaret O Keeffe for organising the event
