Mary Maclean’s Bench Unveiling, Sunday 14 September

South End Green Association (SEGA) is holding a celebration in the World Peace Garden Camden to mark the new street bench in honour of the late Mary Maclean, SEGA’s illustrious hon sec.

Mary (1916-2012) was SEGA Hon. Sec 1981-2001 and thereafter vice-chair and SEGA President. A bench has been commissioned in Mary’s honour and is being placed outside 7-12 Parliament Court, where she lived, on the Parliament Hill pavement. It will be a place to pause for our neighbours who trudge up the hill

On Sunday 14 September at 3pm we will gather there to unveil her bench. We will then go along the road to the World Peace Garden Camden for tea and cakes so please join us.
